The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) has announced a partnership with PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) to bring global market intelligence and international decision-makers directly to China’s business events sector.

Set to take place from November 3 to 5, 2026, in Beijing, the inaugural tradeshow under Messe Berlin will connect PCMA’s global network of more than 9,000 active members and 55,000 engaged industry professionals across 72 countries with China’s expanding corporate events market.

A highlight of the collaboration is an exclusive two-hour, closed-door Corporate Intelligence Exchange workshop designed specifically for corporate events planners, buyers, and executives. Led by Florence Chua, PCMA’s managing director for APAC, the session will draw upon research from the PCMA Outlook Report 2026 – Global Corporate Sector.

CIMX will mark the first business event in China to host localised, Mandarin-translated PCMA Outlook data, pairing global benchmarks with real-time insights gathered through pre-session surveys, live audience polling, and structured peer-to-peer discussions. Key findings from the report will also be featured on the main CIMX Conference stage to provide the broader audience of event professionals with practical market forecasting and actionable insights.

Beyond market research, the partnership will focus on expanding buyer engagement across the region. PCMA will market the event to its corporate event leaders, agency decision-makers, and association executives throughout the Asia-Pacific region, inviting qualified buyers to join the CIMX Hosted Buyer Program. Selected corporate planners will also participate in the CIMX Corporate Delegate Program, which offers tailored one-on-one business matchmaking, exclusive networking lunches and dinners, and an opening-day VIP Tour connecting high-level decision-makers directly with destination suppliers and exhibitors.

Chua stated: “Industry intelligence creates the greatest value when it is placed in the right market context and translated into practical action… This exchange will help participants benchmark their strategies, examine emerging challenges and identify opportunities to strengthen the strategic value of their business events,” she adds.

Nikolaos Swoch, director of CIMX, added: “… By combining research, peer exchange and continued communication, we are encouraging an ongoing dialogue between China’s corporate events community and global industry leaders – one that supports international exchange and stronger professional practices.”
