Worldwide Kids, a provider of family and childcare services to the luxury hospitality sector, has launched Luxury Childcare Association (LCA).
The LCA is the first of its kind, and it will function as a hotel membership platform and accreditation programme dedicated to elevating childcare standards within the luxury hospitality sector.

To become a LCA member, resorts must qualify by meeting a criteria from the range of facilities on offer to the levels of staff, as well as commit to an annual audit and enrol their childcare teams in the Worldwide Kids’ International Childcare for Leisure and Tourism programme, accredited by City & Guilds, ensuring the highest industry standards. Staff who complete the training programme are rewarded with a diploma that enhances their credentials.
LCA members also gain access to Worldwide Kids’ Digital Safety Platform, a cutting-edge system that enhances security, streamlines management, ensures compliance and improves operational efficiency. They also integrate with Worldwide Kids’ industry leading Standard Operating Procedures and documentation, ensuring a consistent, professional and safe childcare experience.
The LCA also acts as a customer-facing platform, allowing guests to search for recommended properties and increasing discoverability for members, as well as the opportunity for guests to book directly with the property.
Among the first hotels in the world to be awarded an LCA plaque are Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, One&Only Royal Mirage, One&Only The Palm, Atlantis The Palm, Atlantis The Royal, and JA The Resort.
Worldwide Kids has worked alongside luxury resorts for more than 30 years to shape outstanding childcare offerings, specialising in creating child-friendly spaces and experiences, to improve and elevate family offerings.
Being a client of Worldwide Kids is not a prerequisite to becoming an LCA member: all hotels and resorts who offer leading child services are welcome to join, provided they pass the initial grading process, and the annual improvement audits.
