The Asia Pacific Society of Association Executives (APSAE) will step onto the global stage this July 24 to 25, 2026, hosting its inaugural summit at Marina Bay Sands.

The event marks the formal introduction of the region’s first dedicated body for association executives, which aims to become the definitive regional authority for sector excellence by 2028, mirroring established counterparts in the US and Europe.

Despite Asia Pacific driving more than half of global economic growth, the region has previously lacked a centralised network to empower its industry and professional communities. APSAE was created to fill this gap by fostering cross-border collaboration, developing region-specific insights, and elevating leadership capabilities.

“Asia Pacific is no longer simply participating in the global association landscape – it is helping shape its future,” said Prasant Saha, president of APSAE. “The launch of APSAE represents an important step toward building a stronger regional ecosystem where association leaders can collaborate, learn from one another, and collectively elevate the impact of associations across APAC.”

The two-day APSAE Summit 2026 will gather 100 to 150 senior association leaders across the region, and will feature executive masterclasses, research-led discussions, and strategic networking.

Key presentation themes will focus on navigating modern sector disruptions, including artificial intelligence and digital transformation, shifting from standard member engagement to member obsession, and building sustainable association models that drive social impact and economic growth.

The initial lineup of confirmed speakers includes Amitendu Palit, senior research fellow at the National University of Singapore; Jessy Lee, regional director for East and South-east Asia at the Society of Actuaries; Holly Fang, president of the Singapore FinTech Association; and Steven Yeo, executive director of the Caregiving Welfare Association.

Registration for the summit, partnership opportunities, and founding membership applications are currently open through the official APSAE website.
