Preparations are underway for the Asia Pacific Aviation Safety Seminar 2027 (APASS 2027), which will convene in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 7 to 9, 2027.
Organised by the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines and hosted by Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) with the support of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, the flagship forum will bring together regional aviation leaders, safety professionals, regulators, manufacturers, and technology partners.
Under the theme Shaping the Future of Safe Aviation, the three-day conference will focus on emerging technologies, operational resilience, human performance, and global industry collaboration. The programme will feature plenary sessions, technical streams, and workshops covering flight operations, maintenance, cabin safety, artificial intelligence, predictive risk management, and sustainability.
AAPA director general Wong Hong noted that the region’s rapid aviation growth presents both significant opportunities and increasingly complex operational challenges, highlighting the event’s focus on innovative and collaborative safety solutions.
Echoing this sentiment, Nasaruddin A. Bakar, president and group CEO of MAG, stated that maintaining high safety standards requires a shared commitment to continuous learning and operational exchange across the Asia-Pacific region.
