AMC Institute leadership joins ICCA Congress in Panama

ICCA and AMCI will bring association management and meetings leaders together in Panama

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) andAMC Institute (AMCI) are combining forces to bring association executives and global meeting leaders to Panama City for the 65th ICCA Congress, set for November 8 to 11, 2026.

AMCI’s Board of Directors will hold its fall board meeting in Panama City immediately before joining the congress, which is expected to draw more than 1,000 business events professionals and representatives from over 100 international associations across 80 countries.

ICCA and AMCI will bring association management and meetings leaders together in Panama

The joint effort aims to directly connect association management companies (AMCs) with the destinations, venues, and suppliers hosting global events. AMCI member firms span 16 countries, and manage more than 3,300 associations representing 3.3 million individual members and over US$1.9 billion in annual revenue.

Framed around the congress theme #CrossWorlds, the event will focus on cross-sector collaboration, operational challenges, and changing trends in how associations plan international meetings.

The 65th ICCA Congress is hosted in Panama City with support from destination marketing organization PROMTUR Panama.
