IHPBA wins 2026 Incredible Impacts Programme Seed Fund Grant

The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) and BestCities Global Alliance have named the International Hepato-Pancreato Biliary Association (IHPBA) as the recipient of the 2026 Incredible Impacts Programme Seed Fund Grant.

The US$5,000 grant will support a legacy project tied to the 17th Annual IHPBA World Congress in Singapore this October, hosted in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board. The initiative aims to improve equity in liver cancer care across low- and middle-income countries in the Asia-Pacific region through tailored clinical frameworks, policy leadership, and regional collaboration.

Alongside the seed grant, ICCA and BestCities revealed the three finalists for the US$20,000 Incredible Impacts Programme Main Grant, which recognises international association meetings that deliver measurable, long-term societal value.

Selected for their innovative approaches, the finalists include the Autism Europe Congress 2025 in Dublin for its progress in inclusive event design and employment practices; International Social Housing Festival 2025 in Dublin for advancing tenant-led housing policy and creating a Europe-wide living library; and WindEurope Annual Event 2025 in Copenhagen for tackling the wind sector’s STEM skills gap through hands-on educational toolkits.

The three finalists will present their legacy initiatives during a plenary session at the 2026 ICCA Congress in Panama City this November, where the winner of the main grant will be determined.
