The International Association of Professional Congress Organisers (IAPCO) has launched a new global advocacy campaign, Dear Associations, to highlight the value and expertise of its accredited Professional Congress Organisers (PCOs).
Building on its previous Unlocking Excellence campaign, Dear Associations focuses on how IAPCO members provide measurable impact through strategic guidance, governance support, advocacy, and a deep understanding of their clients’ goals.

According to a statement from IAPCO, its members specialise in working at the intersection of membership value, governance, and commercial frameworks. They are also active in shaping policy and are globally connected, continuously exploring new conference models to keep their clients ahead of the curve.
In 2024, IAPCO members delivered 9,854 health and life science conferences worldwide, generating more than €7 billion (US$8.2 billion) in economic impact.
Martin Boyle, CEO of IAPCO, emphasised that the relationship between associations and PCOs is based on trust and the ability to manage a brand’s reputation and achieve measurable outcomes.
“This campaign will reinforce that choosing an IAPCO Accredited PCO means choosing assurance, quality, and excellence – delivered by professionals who truly understand associations and the communities they serve,” said Boyle.
The Dear Associations campaign will run from late September through December 2025. It will feature association case studies, client endorsements, social media outreach, and a presence at IBTM World in Barcelona.
