ICCA has appointed Alexander Alles as senior director of Advocacy and Sustainability, effective April 1, 2026.
This newly-created senior role is designed to embed global sustainability as a fundamental industry pillar while leading advocacy efforts that elevate the impact of business events.
Alles will oversee ICCA’s global strategy in these areas, providing members with actionable pathways to move from intention to implementation and championing progress across all regions and sectors.
Working closely with international institutions, policymakers, and the global ICCA community, he will drive the organisation’s mission to foster a more resilient and influential events industry.
