The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) has expanded its professional development portfolio with the launch of three on-demand Specialty Certifications covering behavioural psychology, risk management, and wellness integration.
The new self-paced, virtual credentials respond to findings from SITE’s recent Member Needs Assessment, which highlighted demand for targeted, practical education to complement the association’s established Certified Incentive Specialist (CIS) and Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) designations.

The three new modules focus on key operational and strategic areas.
Grounded in behavioural science and neuroscience, the The Psychology of Incentive Travel Planning is a six-module course examines how emotion, cognitive load, and memory influence participant engagement and long-term programme impact.
Next, Risk Ready: Assessing and Reducing Risk in Incentive Travel will provide practical guidance on risk assessment, duty of care, and crisis response protocols for transport disruptions, health emergencies, and destination-specific challenges.
Lastly, Integrating Wellness into Event Planning will focus on embedding wellness into event design as a strategic tool to boost participant engagement and social connection, covering supplier vetting, programme scheduling, and ROI measurement.
Each certification awards 1.00 CEU credit upon completion. Course fees are set at US$249 for SITE members and US$375 for non-members. Access is available via SITE’s official online platform.
