Australian Business Events Association (ABEA) has appointed Samantha Glass, founder and principal of Glass Advisory, to its board of directors.
Glass replaces Penny Lion, who has resigned due to other professional commitments.
With over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, government engagement, and industry advocacy, Glass previously served on the ICC Sydney executive leadership team for more than a decade as director of corporate affairs, communication, and sustainability.
She also previously served on the ABEA board representing venues and chaired the association’s sustainability special interest group.
Glass currently runs Glass Advisory and is a PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney researching the societal value of major events.
